We had something very fun and special happen around here about a week ago!
Here are some clues to help you figure out who it was ALL about!
Did you guess the newest 8 year old little girl who lives here?
That's right!!! Emily turned 8 years old on April 30th and we had a big party weekend! All of the family rolled into Boise (minus Jess and Iris...WE MISSED YOU!) to help her celebrate and be part of her getting baptized. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family who are such supporters....Thank you all for coming and making it such a special time for Emily!
Emily chose to go to the Zoo (no surprise there!) and that is where we all headed!

Connor was SO excited to ride on the carousel!
Carter loves Connor! He says "He's my friend"....I think it's so sweet.
The temperature could have been warmer, but it was still a good time at the zoo!
Later that day, it was time for Emily to get baptized. It's pretty neat that Emily was baptized right on her birthday...she'll always know the date when she became a member of the church!
Then....PARTY TIME!
Balloons....Presents...Cake....Ice Cream....
Trey loved all the tissue paper....and there was A LOT of tissue paper...lol!
We continued the party over at the hotel where the family was staying with some POOL TIME!
When this crew gets together....there will be some serious fun in the pool!!!
What a fabulous weekend!!!!

Your little girl is a cutie! It looks like she had a fun weekend. I can't believe your second child is 8 years old...unbelievable!
Man, between the wonderful photos and the music you had me tearing up from the get go there! (I must have the great granmpa Vaden emotional thing going- or hormones...)
Anyway, congratulations to Miss Emily!!! What a grand celebration with everyone present for such a special day. And how lucky was that to have her baptism right on her day?!?

Happy birthday to Emily. That first picture of her is absolutely gorgeous. A day she will always remember for sure! So glad so many were able to help celebrate the big day.
