My children look forward to Wednesdays in the summer. Why? Because they know on Wednesday, the Bookmobile comes to our side of town and depending on what's going on that day, sometimes we make a whole afternoon of getting there and back :)
We hit the greenbelt and ride our bikes to Harris Ranch.
Emily exclaimed, "Mom...I see blowing weeds". So, naturally, we have to stop and blow the weeds.
We arrive at the Bookmobile...YEAH!
Now.....Most of the time, we pack a picnic and eat lunch under our tree on the way back home. But, if it is our "Lucky Day" we stop and get pizza here after we get our books.
Today was our Lucky Day!!!!!
Then...time to hit the road back home...all up hill :)
Our trip is not complete until we stop at the tree.
It's a nice little rest spot before the last pull home.
Carter gets more brave with every stop.
He told me, "I don't break my leg, Mom!"
Heaven Help Me!
One of us doesn't exactly read, yet. So he enjoys throwing grass on those who are reading rather than playing :) He finds other ways to "rest"...it's hard work sitting in the bike trailer ;)

Oooooh, Lucky 13 pizza! One of my favorites and don't you just love their patio? By the way, where does the bookmobile stop on Wednesday??? Glad Carter's legs remain unbroken!
