Today, Aaron took off work and I went out to do some last minute shopping for the big day...by myself.....who knew meandering through the isles at the grocery store could be so relaxing?*&^?....any mom who has threee children at home waiting for Christmas to get here, that's who!!! When I got home, they were no where to be founnd......Dad had taken them outside to build a snowman out of the skiff of snow we received...let me just add that Carter is obsessed with snowmen....loves them!

Later in the day, we worked on some holiday treats!
These are some of our favorites for a few reasons:

3. YUMMY! Perfect combination of salty and sweet
You know the little white paper that pokes out of the kisses......
Emily found the longest one in the world .....it was seriously attached to one Hershey Kiss...funny:)

Those do look yummy! Fun times and yes, shopping by yourself is amazing--even when they get older!
Just make sure you don't use the kisses with carmel in the middle...BIG MESS! We tried rolos and they worked much better. I agree with you, the perfect combination of sweet and salt and crunch!!! Yummy!
